Motion City Soundtrack

Are you looking for a new great band to start listening to that isn’t rap or country? Motion City Soundtrack
is an Indie/Punk band of five guys from Minneapolis, Minnesota. Their music always has a cool beat,
and the lyrics are really good. They have three albums released; “I Am the Movie,” “Commit this to Memory,”
and “Even If It Kills Me.”

Last November I went to one of their shows at Bogart’s in Cincinnati. Their keyboardist, Jesse Johnson,
played backwards and has been known to do an actual handstand on his keyboard. With all of the flashing
strobe lights, loud music, and large crowd of people, it became an experience I’ll never forget.
