Historic Warriors

Here is the hall of some of history's warriors who revolutionized the art of swordfighting.

William Wallace
(1272 – 23 August 1305)

William Wallace is the embodiement of the perfect warrior. He is known as the father of the Scottish claymore. The claymore was a feared blade of the Highlands measuring about 7 feet total. He was a Scottish rebel who raged a bloody war against the British for Scotlands freedom. He was seen as a god among his soldier's as he was fueled by revenge over the loss of his wife to his enemy.
The warrior within him was released through many years of watching his clansmen battle with eachother backed by the hand of Britain. Great Britain caused a lot of infighting of the Highlanders making things much easier for them to remain in control. Once William took to his sword it wasn't a long time before he began to steadily climb through the ranks of the military. He won many battles against the British until his capture on August 5, 1305 when one of his soldiers turned him in to British forces. He was tried in London and found guilty of multiple cases of "murder" and treason of his country. He was stripped naked and dragged through the city of London at the heels of a horse. He was then hanged for a moment but realeased before he suffocated. He was then emasculated and disemboweled, they then burned his intenstines in front of him. Finally he was beheaded and all four of his limbs were severed. His head was ppreserved by being dipped in tar and was placed on the tip of a pike of a statue in London.


Miyamoto Musashi
(1584 - June 13, 1645)

Miyamoto Musashi was a famed Japanese Swordsman and samurai famed for his duels and different style. He was raised by his uncle among one of Japan's many temples. He was taught the basic principles of Buddhism here along the abilities to read and write. His father was believed to be killed by one of Musashi's later adversaries. His family lineage was trained in a art of swordfighting called jitte. He was trained in the way of the sword since the young age of seven.
